Beatrice Siyanbola is an energy professional with a background in chemical engineering.
She has worked across planning, hydrocarbon management, and operations in gas processing before recently transitioning into a commercial role as an Economist. She began her career as a Planning and Performance Engineer, where she drove asset management strategies, turnaround risk assessments, and benchmarking exercises to improve safety, cost efficiency, and production performance across the Scottish gas value chain. She then focused on Hydrocarbon Accounting, managing daily production data from 80+ offshore assets across the UK and Norway. She was responsible for hydrocarbon allocation and reporting to customers and regulatory bodies, ensuring operational transparency and compliance. Following this, Beatrice took on the role of Production Operations Supervisor/ Engineer at an LPG fractionation plant producing ethane, propane, butane, and gasoline. Leading a team of five, she ensured safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while managing emissions, contractor activities, and operational risks critical to UK energy security. Now in a commercial role, Beatrice supports strategy development and investment valuation for international low-carbon energy projects, including hydrogen and low-carbon fuels. She applies economic, regulatory, and financial analysis to guide capital allocation and ensure emerging technologies are viable and competitive. Beyond this, Beatrice is passionate about early careers development and diversity in the energy sector. She volunteers through initiatives such as the Girls in Energy programme and other education and diversity-focused charities and initiatives. She also frequently engages university students, equipping them with knowledge on the evolving energy landscape.
