Emma Fay

I am a hardworking, conscientious and self-motivated individual, passionate about enhancing communication between the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare sector, ultimately improving outcomes for patients.

Throughout my six years’ experience at GSK I have developed my communication, interpersonal, strategic and influencing skills. My passion for developing a career in the pharmaceutical industry was born out of my time at the University of Sheffield, studying an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science.

Since joining GSK, I have held a number of roles across the business. I first began in sales, working across Respiratory and Dermatology departments, this experience gave me an excellent understanding of how to operate effectively as a sales person whilst navigating the complexities of the NHS. It also helped me to learn about the key drivers, policies and routes to the health care landscape that were required to ensure consistent delivery beyond my sales targets which lead to me moving from an agency to securing a permanent role at GSK.

Most recently I have transitioned to working in respiratory market access marketing. This experience has provided me with an opportunity to challenge and change the way GSK communicates with healthcare/policy leaders, in order to drive changes at a population level, improve ways of working between the pharmaceutical industry and the NHS and most importantly improving patients access to medicines.
