Jenny Pirault is an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst at Aon. She grew up in Brighton and was educated at Brighton and Hove Girls School. During that time, Jenny developed an interest in music, learning the violin, piano and flute from an early age. Her musical capabilities allowed her to tour across Europe as a member of the Brighton Youth Orchestra, notable performances include playing at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and playing in a youth orchestra which accompanied Gareth Malone’s Opera The Knight Crew at Glynebourne.

After taking a gap year, Jenny studied International Business Management and French at Newcastle University.

During her second year she worked with Ammar Mirza of ABConnexions (ABC), a local social enterprise to improve their business plans and to integrate ABC with Newcastle University. She was also Vice-President of the Chess Society and co-organised the first Chess Boxing gala in Newcastle in 2013 to raise money for the Percy Hedley Foundation. During her placement year she found the opportunity to work as a Project Management Intern at the Association European des Conservatoires in Brussels which combined her love of music, French and higher music education.  Jenny had the opportunity to study International Business for a semester at Toulouse’s Ecole Superière de Commerce, a leading Grand Ecole in France. On return to Newcastle University she set up Newcastle University Business Links Society in partnership with ABConnexions, a society focusing on bringing together students and local businesses to offer networking, career advice and work experience.

After graduation, Jenny gained a place on the Consulting Graduate Scheme for Aon which she has just completed. She still maintains her creative interests through singing with the SHE choir London, playing with the Amati Orchestra and painting.
