After graduating Liverpool John Moores University in 2014 with a 1st Class Degree in Marketing, I joined BAE Systems on the Business Development Graduate Scheme where I undertook four business winning placements over the course of 2 years.
After completing the scheme in 2016, I joined the Strategy Team in the Air Sector, in a role that focused on developing a future fighter programme for the UK.
Over the proceeding 4 years, I undertook a variety of Strategic, Campaign Management and Project Management roles and saw the programme through various stages – from being a strategic concept, to the announcement of Team Tempest, to contract award for the initial phases of the Global Combat Air Programme (formerly FCAS). During this time I worked collaboratively with MoD and industry teams from across the UK and internationally and I am incredibly proud to have played a part in what is now a strategically important programme for the UK and its allies.
In mid 2020 I moved into the Digital Intelligence business (formerly Defence Information), which focuses on delivering cyber, digital and data products and services. I am Deputy Account Manager for one of our key Customers and I work with our teams to deliver important capabilities to our Armed Forces today, as well as looking ahead to ensure that we are developing technologies that meet future requirements for our Customers.
