I joined MWWPR as a graduate intern straight after my final submission at the University of Birmingham back in May 2017.
With no previous PR experience, my keenness and enthusiasm to learn about the industry secured me a permanent position at the company, and the rest they say, is history! I am now a Senior Account Executive and am coming up to my two-year anniversary at MWWPR. During my time so far at the company, I have worked on both B2B and consumer clients, ranging over tech, fintech, media and marketing, food and drink, third-sector, male grooming, licensing and music. The variety has given me valuable experiences and made it possible for me to build relationships with a large selection of media and a good understanding of different industries.
In November/December 2018, I was selected to go on the office exchange programme, working from the New York office. This gave me a chance to learn about what the US PR world is like in comparison to the UK, also building valuable relationships with US based journalists and colleagues.
