At 20 years old, I co-founded BreatheUni, a student-led mental health initiative that provided safe spaces for young people to discuss mental health, identity, and resilience.
This experience showed me the power of lived experience in driving change and the gaps in traditional support structures. Recognising the need for more emotionally engaging and intersectional DEI approaches, I transitioned into self-employment at 21, launching LLA Consulting to deliver high-impact workshops and consultancy. By the end of 2024, I founded Synkora Consulting, a youth-led EDI consultancy disrupting traditional DEI training with gamification, storytelling, and active learning. I have given talks at BETT (the world’s largest EdTech conference), HSBC, The Foreign Office, Superdrug, and the UK’s largest International Women’s Day Expo & Conference. My workshops have reached thousands of young people across 100+ schools, tackling topics such as race and mental health, gender inequality, and gender-based violence. Testimonial: “It was a great session quite insightful presentation from speaker to allyship principles and inclusion of diversity, the inter-activeness was exceptional. – Employee, The Kier Group
