Ekta is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience delivering impactful business outcomes by driving growth, profitability, and transformative change.
A passionate advocate for gender diversity, she was selected as a UN Women UK delegate for the 67th and 68th sessions of the Commission on the Status of Women. Her industry recognition includes being a TechWomen100 Winner (2022), a finalist for ‘IT Strategy Leader of the Year’ at the Women in Tech Excellence Awards (2023) by Computing.com, and a spot on the 2024 longlist of the Most Influential Women in UK Tech.
As a leadership and women’s empowerment coach, Ekta has scaled businesses 4x in two years, turned around a division with a four-fold profitability increase, and successfully founded her own consulting firm, scaling three startups in sustainability and AI product development. Her expertise spans strategic planning, digital transformation, and leading divestiture programs.
Ekta has been instrumental in establishing the Diversity & Inclusion Charter for Wipro UK&I and actively contributes to initiatives like the Impact 100 London, Women of Silicon Roundabout, City Women Network, STEMettes, TechSheCan, and Women of the Future.
Academically, she holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, a PGDBM in IT & Marketing, and certifications in Digital Transformation (University of Virginia) and Sustainable Business Strategy (Harvard).
Her proudest achievement is raising her daughter, an accomplished author, national-level swimmer, and chess player. Ekta remains dedicated to advancing people, planet, and sustainability through her work and advocacy.
