Michaela Gibson | Head of DEI Transformation and Programme Management

Michaela GibsonMichaela has over 20 years’ of experience in the UK insurance industry across a variety of roles in IT, Operations,  Process & Business Change, and DEI.

For the last 10 years, Michaela has worked solely in Diversity & Inclusion roles for a number of Lloyd’s insurers and syndicates and is now Head of DEI Programme Transformation at the Phoenix Group.

She is the founder of The Insurance Families Network and sits on the steering committee of Link, the LGBTQ+ Inclusion@Lloyd’s Partner network, and is the co-creator of the 50 over Fifty initiative, celebrating the contribution of women over 50 to the UK insurance industry. Michaela is a mother of two and is a committed neurodiversity champion as she is neurodivergent herself and has a neurodivergent daughter, setting up a dedicated parent and carers of neurodivergent children support group in collaboration with GAIN.
