With over 40 years of broad international experience, he has held diverse roles, including company owner, board director, senior manager, design engineer, project manager, consultant, speaker, and technical/business writer. His career reflects a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and social impact.

As the founder and secretariat of the International Network for Women in Cooling (INWIC), established with the support of UNEP, Stephen has been instrumental in creating platforms that highlight and elevate the contributions of women in engineering. Through INWIC, he fosters collaboration and drives meaningful change in traditionally male-dominated fields around the world.

A former President of the Institute of Refrigeration and Director of ACRIB, Stephen is widely respected for his influence in shaping industry policies and promoting inclusive leadership. Beyond his professional achievements, he is a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). He actively mentors and supports individuals in business and engineering, championing initiatives that create equal opportunities and drive systemic change.
