Romee Brussen Mulder

Romée is an Associate in Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure and Energy Capital (IEC) team which invests Maquarie’s balance sheet into infrastructure projects, businesses and platforms.

Romée is responsible for the day to day management and execution of key transaction work-streams as well as monitoring and creation of value in existing assets. Since joining in 2020, she has worked on a number of landmark transactions including notably, the €2bn Sotra Connection PPP Project, and more recently Project Mufasa, one of the largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in continental Europe. Romée is passionate about infrastructure investment and is encouraged by the tangible positive impact that has been made through the projects she and the wider team have worked on. Originally from the Netherlands, Romée graduated from the University of Surrey in 2016 with a first class honours degree in Economics, this also included an academic exchange at the University of Hong Kong. Furthermore, she holds a MA in International Political Economy from King’s College, London where her dissertation focused on intersectional feminism. Prior to Joining Macquarie, Romée completed a graduate program at HSBC.
