Justine joined Sanlam in 2017, after being head hunted by Sanlam’s CEO, Jonathan Polin, and was brought into Sanlam to transition Advisory Client’s into a Discretionary mandate and to build additional AUM for the Group.

Justine is a qualified and experienced Portfolio Manager and has worked in financial services for 10+ years. She started her career at HSBC securities and prior to joining Sanlam UK, she was a Wealth Manager at Tilney and later European Wealth where she managed the South African desk as well as solutions for international and UK discretionary and advisory clients.

In 2018, she was prestigiously included in Wealth Manager’s Top 100 leading fund selectors in private client investment management in the UK by Citywire and has won high achievement awards at Sanlam, the most recent being the ‘High Achievers Award’, given to the Top 2 business generators in the UK.

Justine has continued to develop herself professionally in her career to date. She holds a Bachelor of Business Science (with Honours) in Finance and Economics and is a CFA Level 3 candidate. She is a chartered Associate of the Institute for Securities and Investments and a CF30.

Her role at Sanlam, in the capacity of a Portfolio Manager, is to create and manage a bespoke book of discretionary portfolios across multiple asset classes, develop and maintain new and existing relationships across the UK and South Africa and provide sound advice and a high level of service to their respective clients. Justine has not only and continues to meet these primary objectives, but does this in a way showing positive and entrepreneurial ability and the passion for knowing her clients can expect the highest level of service. She is a passionate individual that naturally takes on new opportunities with enthusiasm and illustrates a willingness to mentor younger generations – which she is currently doing.
