Kelly Fox-Petersen

When I left school I didn’t know what I wanted to do.

I began working in an office from the age of 17 and stayed in my first job for almost 10 years where I learnt so much about various different departs such as Accounts, training, conferences etc. For the next four years I worked on the IT Helpdesk and then got a job working for a global insurance company where I was trained and encouraged to become an Exectuve Assistant. In 7 years my role slightly changed and I added Events & Conference Planner to my EA title.

Then when I worked at Tate & Lyle I was a Group insurance Administrator but after about 6 months I missed my EA role and had the opportunity to work for the General Councel and the Company Secretry and also support the Board members.

My role has evolved during lockdown and I now support additional executives but what I love is using my mental health training to encourage staff to talk about mental wellbeing.
