Bisi Daniels received a B.A. Political Science from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Risk Management from St. John’s University and is currently the Insurance Risk Manager for AIG Europe Limited. She is a recent transplant to London from AIG’s New York Enterprise Risk Management team where focused on risk aggregation and man-made catastrophe. Bisi started her insurance career as a property and casualty broker’s assistant in 2005 and gradually advanced her career and education.
In 2016, she was a part of the AIG team that worked with Cambridge University’s Centre for Risk Studies on Helios Solar Storm Scenario paper. This past December, as a member of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Organization’s Loss Control Interest group, she facilitated a webinar to educate underwriters on the risk of phthalates.
Outside of her professional obligations, Bisi is a strong advocate for young professionals, diversity and community service initiatives in the insurance and financial services industry. She was a member of the advisory council instrumental in chartering the Emerging Leaders initiative for the Insurance Federation of New York, IFNY, where young insurance professionals will gain from mentor-ship opportunities with senior insurance leaders. In addition, she served as the Charity Co-Chair for the ReinsuranceUnder40s and oversaw the annual Covenant House SleepOut to benefit homeless and disadvantage youth and various other community building activities.
While she remains in her US based organizations where she can, as she is now based in London, she will be continuing with her community and charity initiatives in the UK.
