Back in 2013, I enrolled in a Sports Conditioning degree in Cardiff but after 2 years realised my true interest lay with my part-time Sales job and made the difficult decision to leave my life at university behind. With the help of a local academy, I started a level 3 apprenticeship in Social Media Marketing with a company called TRS Claims, who provide claims management and software solutions for the insurance industry. 3 years down the line, life at TRS has changed dramatically with my role switching more into Business Development and leading the marketing department. Alongside by day-to-day duties, I heavily support the apprenticeship scheme and have become an ambassador in the West Midlands as well as joining The Career and Enterprise Company network.
